Marketplace Terms

Version 2.1 · updated 28 September 2026

How marketplace purchases, delivery, returns and refunds work between you and sellers.

Marketplace purchases are contracts between you and the seller. - Sphere is not a party to that contract and does not manufacture, supply, inspect or test the products sold. Sphere's liability in connection with a marketplace purchase is limited to the value of the order, and Sphere is not liable for any injury, allergic reaction, or loss arising from the use of a product, which remains the seller's responsibility. - Sellers must ensure products comply with UK product safety law, including the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013 and any applicable labelling and ingredient disclosure requirements. - Sellers are responsible for product descriptions, ingredients, safety information, packaging and delivery. - Delivery times shown are estimates. Collection is available only where the seller offers it. - Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you generally have 14 days from delivery to change your mind on unopened items. Cosmetics and personal-care items that have been opened or unsealed for hygiene reasons may be excluded. - Faulty or misdescribed items are covered by your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Raise a dispute through Sphere if a seller does not resolve it. - Approved refunds for marketplace purchases are processed via Stripe to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 working days of approval. Sphere does not control bank or payment provider processing times. - Gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and expire on the date shown. - You will not arrange to purchase directly from a seller you were introduced to through the Sphere marketplace outside the Platform for the same or related products. - These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. - Marketplace commission: Sphere deducts commission from each marketplace sale at the seller's plan rate — 5% on Free, 3% on Pro, 1% on Elite and 0.5% on Team — capped at £15 per sale. Upgrading your plan lowers the commission on both bookings and product sales.
